Tachinomi means you drink standing up. No chairs, no table charge, and nobody expects you to stay long — which is exactly why it's easy to do three in one evening. Plan is one drink and one small dish per place, then move. Around 1000-1500 yen each stop, paid as you go. The first place is tiny — eight people is genuinely the limit, and if it's full we'll wait outside for a bit. That happens.
