1. What this is

Hupeng is a platform for posting and joining offline events. You can create an event, or apply to join one someone else created. Hupeng itself does not organize events, does not supply their content, and is not the host of any event.

2. Age requirement

Hupeng is only for people aged 18 and over. You must enter your birth year and month when you register; anyone under 18 cannot complete registration. If we find a minor using the service, we will close the account.

3. Hupeng never handles money

Events may involve costs — transport, food and drink, tickets, accommodation. Those costs are priced by the organizer and collected directly offline. Hupeng does not collect, forward, or take a cut of any payment, and is not liable for disputes about money. The cost note on an event page is written by the organizer; use your own judgement and stay alert to money disputes.

4. Prohibited content and conduct

Do not post events intended for dating, matchmaking, or finding a partner. Do not set discriminatory participation requirements. Do not use events as cover for sales pitches, pyramid schemes, fraud, or unreasonable charges. Do not harass, threaten, or personally attack other users. Offending events will be taken down and accounts may be suspended.

5. No one-to-one private messaging

Chat exists only inside an event group, visible to the organizer and approved participants. Hupeng provides no private messaging between strangers, and no way to browse or be recommended users by gender.

6. Attendance and reputation

After an event, the organizer marks who showed up. Your attended and no-show counts feed an attendance rate that is shown publicly. Cancelling within 24 hours of the start time is also recorded as a late cancellation. These records help other people decide whether to invite you.

7. Reviews

After an event both sides can review each other. A participant's review of an organizer includes a star rating, tags, and free text. An organizer's review of a participant is tags only — no free text. Reviews become visible to both sides once both have submitted, or 7 days after the event ends.

8. Reports and enforcement

You can report an event, a user, or a chat message. Once three different users report the same target it is hidden automatically and queued for human review. We may remove violating content or suspend accounts without prior notice.

9. Disclaimer

Offline events carry real risks, including personal injury and loss of property. Whether to attend is your decision and the consequences are yours. Hupeng is not responsible for the accuracy or safety of an event, the credentials of its organizer, or any dispute or harm arising during it.

10. Deleting your account

You can delete your account any time under Me → Delete account. Your nickname is replaced with "Deleted user", your photo and bio are cleared, and events you had not yet run are cancelled. So other people's attendance rates and ratings are not distorted, your past participation stays on record in anonymized form.
